Application and Properties

r.rhenus Rotanor CXS has specifically been developed full form grinding operations on
KAPP machines in combination with true CBN profile grinding wheels.

r.rhenus Rotanor CXS is suitable for all full form grind operations of gear and profile
parts of low and high-alloyed steels, either at soft, tempered or hardened condition.
Excellent results with HSS – tool grinding.

Approvals of the companies Reishauer AG, Gleason Corporation, Niles, Kapp and Junker Maschinenfabrik.

According to the inspection specifications of KAPP in Coburg r.meta Rotanor CXS
reaches a performance index of 151 %. (approval dated 23 Sept., 1996).
This high performance index guarantees best machining results in combination with machine
and grinding wheel.
